Vaporwave Text Generator
Vaporwave text uses full width characters, the wide forms designed to line up with Chinese, Japanese and Korean type. The extra spacing is built into each character, so it survives copying anywhere.

Screen readers and search
This style swaps the letters for different characters, so a screen reader reads out character names instead of your word, and the text stops matching a search.
Usernames are different
Every style here works in a bio, caption, message or status. None of them work in an @username or handle: those fields are checked against a short list of plain characters and anything else is refused. That is the field rejecting the characters, not the generator failing.
How it works
Full width forms exist because East Asian typesetting places every character on a fixed square grid, and Latin letters had to be given matching wide versions to sit in that grid. The vaporwave aesthetic borrowed them for the stretched look. No font is being applied: each wide letter is its own character, already present on the devices reading your text.
Coverage here is complete. Upper case, lower case and digits all convert, and the space is swapped for an ideographic space so the gaps between words widen to match the letters. That makes it one of the few styles on this site with no gaps to explain, though the width means a phrase eats roughly twice the visual room and can wrap awkwardly in a narrow bio.
The characters replace the ordinary ones, so the usual honesty applies. A screen reader announces the full width forms rather than reading your sentence naturally, and search will not match the words. It is also worth knowing that Unicode's own specification says the mathematical alphanumeric block, which powers the bold and italic styles elsewhere on this site, is meant for mathematical notation and not for styling ordinary text. Full width forms come from a different block with a different purpose, but neither was designed with social bios in mind. Content fields accept the style; @usernames and handles do not.
Frequently asked questions
Quick answers to what people ask us most
Why are the spaces so wide?
The ordinary space is replaced with an ideographic space, which is as wide as a full width character. Without it the letters would look stretched but the words would not, and the effect breaks down.
Do numbers convert?
Yes. Full width forms exist for all ten digits, so numbers widen along with the letters. That makes this style useful for dates and years.
Is vaporwave text a font?
No. It is a set of wide Unicode characters that any modern system can already display. Nothing is downloaded and nothing is installed on your reader's device.
Will it fit in a short bio?
Often not. Each character takes about twice the width of its normal form, and platforms count it as one character against the limit, so the line may wrap earlier than you expect. Preview it before saving.
